EDF European Dairy Farmers: Our national branches

Our national branches

The core element of our club are strong national branches. On national level EDF members regularly meet in order to discuss and talk about dairy production. All activities of the national EDF groups are strongly supported by our national Scientific EDF partner.

If a national branch has at least 10 members it gets a seat in the EDF Council. There, each elected national spokesman represents the interests of their national group. The council members meet regularly to discuss and decide about the development and the activities of the club. The national spokesman has to be a dairy farmer. Has a national branch less than 10 members it is only represented by the national scientific partner. The scientific partners form the EDF Scientific Team for Analysis and Research (EDF STAR). This group also meets regularly to carry out and further develop the EDF Benchmarking activities and other projects.
